“Ramstein, Germany” is world renowned for its air base. Kaiserslautern is commonly known as “K-Town”. For over sixty years, the military has shaped and changed the Palatine region, if not the whole federal state of Rheinland-Pfalz. Not without reason has this area been called the “Aircraft Carrier of the West”.
